मित्रो, पिछले दिनों एक बार फिर ईंटा भट्ठा जाने का अवसर मिला। भट्ठे में रखे जाने से पूर्व सांचे से तैयार की गई कच्ची ईंटों को धूप में सुखाया जाता है। सड़क के किनारे सूखती हुई ईटों की लंबी कतार बहुत ही आकर्षक लगती है। लेकिन यदि बारिश हो जाए तो वे ईटें गल कर मिट्टी बन जाती हैं, जो सूख नहीं पाई होती हैं।  यानी एक बड़ा नुक़सान लेकिन यह नुक़सान तो ईटा भट्ठा वालों को हमेशा सहना ही पड़ता है क्योंकि मौसम के साथ खुले में यह निर्माण कार्य होता है। - डॉ (सुश्री) शरद सिंह

Friends, in the last 3-4 years, once again I got an opportunity to visit the brick kiln.  The raw bricks prepared from the mold are dried in the sun before being placed in the kiln.  The long queue of dry bricks on the side of the road looks very attractive.  But if it rains, those bricks melt into clay, which has not dried up.  That is, a big loss, but the people of Eta kiln always have to bear this loss because this construction work is done in the open with the weather.  Brick making is really a labor and patience job.  In this, there is participation of labor of both men and women.  In this way, only brick walls make a house. - Dr. (Ms.) Sharad Singh
